Chocolate Icing

We want to let you in on our silky smooth, lick the spoon chocolate ganache recipe that delivers every single time. All you need is two ingredients, and you're on your way to chocolate perfection.

Make time: 5-10 minutes + 20 minutes cooling time

Makes: Enough icing for 1 cake or 12-14 cupcakes.

You will need:

  • 150g chocolate
  • 75g cream or coconut cream

Method:

In a pot on low heat, gently melt the chocolate and cream together.
Alternatively using a microwave, heat in short bursts until chocolate is melted. 

Take off the heat and let it cool down for 20-30 minutes.
It’s ready when picked up with a spoon and doesn’t fall off.

Keep waiting if it’s not quite ready! Keep an eye on it, as sets quickly if left for too long.

Optional:
For extra fluffy icing, beat with an electric mixer for 5-10 mins.
